Terms of service

Quotes are free and valid for 30 days. They are based on the information and photos you provide. If we find something different on site, such as hidden rot, asbestos or unexpected wiring, we will stop, inform you, and re-quote before carrying out any extra work.

Small jobs are charged hourly with a one-hour minimum. Larger jobs are quoted at a fixed price. There's no call-out fee within our stated Auckland service areas. All prices include GST unless stated otherwise.

Materials we supply are charged at cost and itemised on your invoice. Where you supply materials, we're not responsible for defects in them, though we'll help you with any manufacturer claim.

Invoices are issued on completion and payable within 7 days by bank transfer or card. Larger jobs may require a materials deposit, which will be set out in the quote. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.

You'll need to give us safe access to the work area at the agreed time. Please move valuables and let us know about pets, alarms or anything else we should be aware of.

Let us know at least 24 hours before your booking and there's no charge. Cancellations inside 24 hours, or where we can't get access on the day, may be charged the one-hour minimum.

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months. If something we did isn't up to scratch, call us and we'll come back and put it right at no charge. The guarantee doesn't cover fair wear and tear, misuse, weather damage, or faults in materials you supplied.

Some electrical, gas and plumbing work must legally be carried out by a licensed tradesperson. We'll tell you upfront if your job includes any, and can arrange a licensed contractor.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
