My Handyman (myhandyman.co.nz) is an Auckland-based handyman and property maintenance business. We're committed to protecting your personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, mobile number, email address (if you give one), suburb and the details of the work you'd like done. If we carry out a job we also keep records of the work, invoices and payments.
Why we collect it
Only so we can quote your job, arrange a visit, complete the work, invoice you and follow up about the workmanship guarantee. We may occasionally contact you about your job or a related service — you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We only share it where necessary: with a licensed tradesperson we bring in for part of your job, with our accounting and invoicing software providers, or where we're legally required to.
How we store it
Your details are held in secure, access-controlled systems and kept only as long as we need them for business and tax purposes (generally seven years for invoicing records).
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not legally required to keep it. Email Hello@propertyworks.co.nz or call 021 115 9123.
Cookies
This website uses only the basic cookies needed to make pages work and to understand how many people visit. We don't use them to identify you personally.
